The first member of our Davies family to live in the United States was Richard Beaman Davies (middle stone) who came to the USA to further his boxing career in 1885 and decided to stay. Two years later he brought his wife and four children, two brothers, their families and his mother to Columbus, Ohio, where he decided to settle.
