John Vance Cheney:Author.  Puvlished many novels.

O. K. Chitwood:Owner of O. K. Chitwood Buick and Marmon Repaira.  1130-40  Columbia St.  Came to San Diego in 1913.

Isabella Van Osdall Churchill:Public speaker.  Poet.

Daniel Cleveland: Lawyer.  Came to San Diego in 1869.  A city founding father.

Norman H. Conklin:Lawyer.  Came to San Diego in 1874.  Children:  Sibyl, Harold R., Claude R., Ralph L..

Ralph L. Conklin:Sheriff until 1918.  Residence:  1621 Granada Ave.

Grace Shelburne Conroe:Came to San Dirgo in 1909.  Poet, Writer.

John Mason Dodge:Came to San Diego 1880.  Managed Fischer Opera House.  Clerk: San Diego Co. 1882.  Manager of Gabriel Theatre and Spreakles Theatre.

John J, Donnally:Superintentent of Hardy's Packing House.

Jarvis Doyle:President of Doyle and Barnes Compant.  Wholesale Produce.

Warner Edmonds:Cashier at Peoples State Bank.  Residence on Del Mar St.

John Engebretser:Concrete road contractor.  Came to San Diego in 1887. Employs 100 men, year round.

Ella Frances Everts:Poet.  Business women,  Came to San Dirgo in 1908.  Built Leslie Apts. 14th and Juniper, also Pleasant View Apts. at 4th and Eastside. (Between Ivy and Juniper.)
