FAB FORD CLUB  MINUTES     April 12, 2008

Members present: Pat Novacek, Bill Avery, Bill &,Peggy Troop, Keith & Dawn Carpenter,
Doug Freeman. 


Next meeting will be held Thursday,  May. 8th,  2008  8;00 p.m.

Bill Troop brought flyers titled "Is Your Engine Zinc Starved?" detailing an aleret on the damage that can result to your engine due to the lack of Zinc in todays motor oil.  In the 1990's Zinc was gradually removed from the oil.  Though this does not harm newercars, current research indicates that it harms olser cars.  Owners of older cars need to either add zinc to their oil or (from the writer's notes.) or use a new product called "Motor-head Classic Motor Oil."  You may want to contact Bill troop for more information.  This was the main topic at the meeting.
